Therapy provides the safe container needed to work together and learn new ways of being together with kindness, empathy and love.

About couples therapy

There are many reasons why you may come to couples therapy, communication is often the main focus. Couples can often get stuck repeating patterns that are reactive and based on triggers. Therapy can help identify these patterns and find new ways of relating to each other with empathy, compassion and love.

Therapy can also be supportive when their has been infidelity and trust has been broken.

Healing is possible and it is possible to rebuild.

Sex and intimacy focused therapy

Sex therapy focuses on the couple understanding why there has been a loss of intimacy and

how they can together with the support of the therapist to make changes. Therapy focused

on sex and intimacy gives a space for the couple to discuss their challenges in a safe and

supported environment. Often the therapist will give advice that gives the couple

constructive and practical tools to find ways of being together intimately in a mutually

satisfying and pleasurable way.
